Hospitality Democracy to Launch New Pop-up Brunch Spot Brew City Biscuits this Saturday, August 15
(Milwaukee) — Hospitality Democracy launches a limited time pop-up restaurant, Brew City Biscuits, hosted at Smoke Shack in Milwaukee’s Third Ward. Brew City Biscuits will take over Smoke Shack every Saturday and Sunday, beginning August 15 through September 6.
Brew City Biscuits will be serving southern-style, unapologetically indulgent brunch fare with a focus on buttery scratch made biscuit sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches tower high with classic brunch ingredients and a nod to popular menu items across the Hospitality Democracy restaurant group. The Marty McKlucken, one of Brew City Biscuit’s most colossal sandwiches, is topped with Nashville hot chicken, sweet and spicy pickles, lettuce, tomato and buttermilk mayo.
“This is a menu I’ve been crafting for quite awhile and I’m really excited to introduce it at Smoke Shack for a limited time,” says Alex Sazama, Executive Chef for Hospitality Democracy. “It’s a difficult time for restaurants, and the service industry in general, and this is an opportunity for us to experiment with some new menus and give our guests a fun, new experience here in Milwaukee.”
Brew City Biscuits will operate for dine-in and carryout from Smoke Shack (332 N. Milwaukee St.) Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., beginning August 15 and ending September 6. Smoke Shack offers dine-in, patio, and curbside pick-up.
More information will be available via Smoke Shack’s social media platforms this week.
