Hong Campaign Leadership Includes Porn Star
MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Family Action is concerned with the judgement of Democratic gubernatorial frontrunner Francesca Hong, considering recent reports of her deputy campaign manager, Renee Faust, serving as a sex worker.
It has been reported that Renee Faust is serving as Hong’s deputy campaign manager and currently has an active account on a pornographic website. Faust also founded the ‘Coalition of American Sex Workers-Local 304.’
On Good Friday in 2025, Hong gave a legislative citation honoring Renee Faust at a socialist event for being the “2024 Penthouse Pet of the Year.”
Campaign finance reports show that Faust was recently paid a monthly salary of $5,743.77 on July 1, from the Hong campaign. Faust’s X account shows that she has been an active leader in the Democratic Socialist movement. Her X account cover photo shows drag queens posing next to a “Hong for Governor” sign.
“Wisconsinites deserve to have serious people leading the state. It is unbelievable to see that the likely Democratic nominee for governor has an active sex worker leading her campaign.” said Daniel Degner, president of Wisconsin Family Action. “Voters deserve to know whether, if Hong is elected, she will elevate a porn star to leadership in her administration.”
This revelation is another piece in a laundry list of far-left concerns of which voters should be aware. After using taxpayer resources to elevate Faust’s pornography career, Hong authored legislation that would legalize prostitution in Wisconsin (Assembly Bill 1193). Hong also voted against legislation that would protect children from pornography (Assembly Bill 105) and legislation that criminalized sexual grooming of children in our schools (Assembly Bil 677). Meanwhile, gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany has pledged to sign legislation into law that would protect children from pornography.
Degner closed, “It is telling that Hong elevates porn creators while failing to protect children from the dangers of pornographic content. Wisconsinites should heed the signs of a potential overtly-sexualized Hong administration and vote for pro-family candidate Tom Tiffany.”
