‘Holidays on The Hop’ Returns to Milwaukee’s Streetcar, Featuring Live Music, Giveaways, Decorations and More

Milwaukee – The Hop, presented by Potawatomi Casino Hotel, will once again be showcasing the spirit of the season as “Holidays on The Hop” returns this December. The streetcar will play host to live, holiday-themed music performances along with holiday cookie giveaways, while each of the system’s 20 stations will be adorned with festive holiday décor.

“The Hop is a fantastic way to experience the spirit of the holidays in the heart of Milwaukee,” Commissioner of Public Works Jerrel Kruschke said. “There are so many festive events happening downtown, including our wonderful ‘Holidays on The Hop’ performances right on board the streetcar. We encourage everyone to visit downtown, hop on board, and explore Milwaukee in a safe and convenient way this holiday season.”

‘Holidays on The Hop’ is once again highlighted by a music series featuring live, holiday-themed performances right on board the streetcar. On Sunday, Dec. 8, from 3-6 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 15, from 3-5 p.m., streetcar riders will be treated to live performances of classic holiday-themed tunes. During each of these events, riders will also enjoy a free holiday cookie courtesy of the Baird Center and Levy Restaurants. The complete music schedule is as follows:

Sunday, Dec. 15            3-5 p.m.            JL Russell Jazz Trio
