“Heal the Hood” Fest

Alderman Khalif J. Rainey welcomes Milwaukee residents to attend the Heal the Hood community fun night. This event will draw neighborhoods together, giving residents a positive and safe outlet to discuss how to end violence and crime in the community.

Heal the Hood is a campaign that strives to promote self-sustainability and non-violence. The upcoming block party will bring the community together for a fun evening. It will take place from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25 and Saturday, August 26th on 2320 West Burleigh Street, and will feature free food, school supply giveaways, and more.

Alderman Rainey says, “This event is a small step toward giving residents a voice in their neighborhood, and a positive evening to rally around.”
