Happy National Beer Day, Love, The Milwaukee Brewers

Milwaukee Brewers Offer BOGO Beer on Friday, April 7, National Beer Day

By - Mar 24th, 2023 11:23 am

MILWAUKEE – What are the chances that the Milwaukee Brewers take on their division rival Cardinals, representing the “second city” of beer, on National Beer Day?

Milwaukee has bragging rights to “Beer Capitol of the United States” – the heritage, the quality, and the fun that goes with sipping a cold one no matter the occasion. Fans have the perfect occasion to celebrate as the Brewers take on the Cardinals on Friday, April 7 at American Family Field.

The Brewers will mark “National Beer Day” with an exclusive, “buy one get one” on 16 oz. draft beer and cans of Miller Lite, Coors Light and Miller High Life – found at concessions stands and Marketplaces throughout the ballpark.

The celebratory offer is valid from the time gates open at 5:40 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. First pitch for the game is set for 7:10 pm.

“It’s National Beer Day, so let’s tip one back to Frederick Miller and all of the industry icons who made Milwaukee famous for suds,” said Brewers President – Business Operations Rick Schlesinger. “There’s no more appropriate place to celebrate the occasion than the home of the Brewers.”

National Beer Day is celebrated each year on April 7, marking the day that the Cullen-Harrison Act was signed into law legalizing the sale of beer in the United States, effective April 7, 1933, repealing prohibition.

The remaining games against the St. Louis Cardinals at American Family Field will see the first Gate Giveaway of the season to the first 30,000 ticketed fans and the return of Autograph Sundays.

  • April 8 – Giannis Antetokounmpo Brewers City Connect Basketball Jersey, courtesy of ESPN Milwaukee. More information on this offer and future giveaways can be found on brewers.com/Promotions.
  • April 9 – Autograph Sunday – Children ages 14 and under are invited to the seats by the warning track to receive an autograph from a Brewers player, alumni and or other Brewers personality from 11:50 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. every Sunday home game from April through August. Up to six different stations will feature a player or other personality each Sunday. Autographs are limited to one per child and full-sized bats are not allowed.
Don’t miss out on the 2023 Brewers season. Limited tickets recently released from team holds for the Home Opener on Monday, April 3, are now available at brewers.com/Tickets, 414-902-4000 or at the American Family Field Box Office.
