HACM and Plaintiffs’ Counsel Issue Joint Statement on Extending Deadline to Answer Complaint in Class Action Lawsuit

On August 28, 2024, five residents at the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee’s (HACM) College Court development filed a class action lawsuit against HACM regarding infestation issues. Attorneys for both parties have recently agreed to a 30-day extension of the deadline to file an answer to the complaint, allowing additional time for both sides to collaborate and work towards a mutually agreeable resolution. This extension reflects the commitment of both parties to attempt to resolve the matter constructively.
