Gunpowder Adds Four to Dynamic Public Relations Team
DELAFIELD, Wis. The additions of Jen Ripple, Katie Waite, Bailey Eigbrett and Kalvyn Ferronato bring even more versatile and diverse talent from across the United States to join Gunpowder’s existing team of accomplished public relations practitioners.

Ripple joins the team as associate director of public relations and resides in Tennessee. She brings years of editorial experience to the Gunpowder crew, with a particular focus on the fishing business. In 2013, Ripple founded and served as editor-in-chief for DUN Magazine, a publication focusing on women in fly fishing. Ripple’s writing experience also includes several years spent as a contributor for publications including Outside Magazine, American Angler and FlyFisher Magazine. She is widely known as one the leading female voices in the fishing industry thanks to her editorial work, conservation efforts and activities to increase diversity in angling.
With more than 10 years of experience in PR, content marketing and digital marketing, Waite joins the team as a PR supervisor managing clients within Gunpowder’s outdoor lifestyle categories, including Ventum Bicycles, Uncharted Supply Co. and THOR Industries, among others. Waite brings prior experience working with business-to-business and business-to-consumer brands in various industries and comes to Gunpowder from Nordic, a healthcare consulting company located in Madison, Wisconsin, in which she oversaw content strategy and development.
Ferronato’s enthusiasm for public relations is second only to her passion for the outdoors, which led her to the great state of Montana where she hones her hunting and fly fishing skills. Prior to joining Gunpowder, Ferronato served as a PR specialist for the Montana Governor’s Office of Outdoor Recreation and as a brand coordinator for 2% for Conservation. As a PR account coordinator at Gunpowder, Ferronato will help steer the identities and tell the stories of brands that she interacts with on a daily basis in the outdoors.
Located in Rochester, New York, Eigbrett brings dedication, passion and fishing expertise to the Gunpowder team. After obtaining his master’s degree in 2019, Eigbrett joined the University of Notre Dame’s Athletic Department as an event coordinator, all the while founding the social media consulting firm, Serious Angler Media. Since beginning his role as a PR account coordinator in mid-May, Eigbrett has won two bass fishing tournaments and is thrilled to represent the brands that allow him to pursue his passion at Gunpowder.
