Gov. Evers Seeks Applicants for Milwaukee County Circuit Court
MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers announced today that he is seeking applicants for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court – Branch 34. The appointment will fill a vacancy being created by Judge Glenn H. Yamahiro’s retirement, effective Sept. 2, 2026. The new judge will complete a term ending July 31, 2027.
To apply, please email a completed application form and supporting materials to GOVJudicialAppointments@wisconsin.gov. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Fri., June 19, 2026. The application can be found on the “Apply to Serve” page on Gov. Evers’ website at: www.evers.wi.gov.
Applications for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court need not specify the branch for which they are applying; applicants will be considered for both the Branch 34 vacancy and the recently announced Branch 9 vacancy. Please also note that this application pool may be used to fill any future vacancies on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court in the coming months.
