Gov. Evers Appoints Daniel Krieser as Green Lake County Coroner
MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers announced today his appointment of Daniel Krieser as the next Green Lake County Coroner. This appointment fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Dr. John Willett, effective May 1, 2021.
“Dan Krieser will make a great coroner and will serve the folks of Green Lake County with expertise and professionalism,” said Gov. Evers. “In his time with the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office, Mr. Krieser has gained the experience necessary to step into the job of coroner with ease.”
Krieser, who plans to move to Green Lake County, has worked in the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office since 2014. He has been a death investigator, the operations manager, the interim medical examiner, and is now the autopsy manager. In those roles, he has had the opportunity to work alongside the Green Lake County Coroner’s Office.
“Thank you to Governor Evers for the opportunity to serve the people of Green Lake County,” Krieser said. “My family and I are excited to become part of the community.”
