Giannis Antetokounmpo Named Eastern Conference Player of the Week
MILWAUKEE (Oct. 27, 2025) – Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for Week 1 (Oct. 21-26), the NBA announced today. This is Antetokounmpo’s first Player of the Week honor this season and the 28th of his career.
Antetokounmpo totaled 108 points, 48 rebounds and 21 assists in his three games last week, becoming the first player in NBA history to open a season with 100+ points, 40+ rebounds and 15+ assists through three contests. By recording at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in each game last week, Antetokounmpo joined Luka Dončić, Russell Westbrook and Oscar Robertson as the only players in NBA history to open a season with three consecutive 30/10/5 performances, and he is the only player on that list to shoot at least 60% from the field in all three games.
