Gavin Hattersley Joins Penfield Children’s Center Board of Directors

MILWAUKEE (February 15, 2018) – Gavin Hattersley, Chief Executive Officer at MillerCoors, has joined the Board of Directors at Penfield Children’s Center.

“Penfield and MillerCoors have a long-standing commitment to serving the greater Milwaukee community,” said Christine (Chris) Holmes, President/CEO of Penfield Children’s Center. “We are thrilled to welcome Gavin to the board of directors at Penfield Children’s Center. He and his wife, Terry, are both deeply committed to serving children in Milwaukee and Chicago.”

“It is an honor to join the Board at the Penfield Children’s Center, which does incredible work in providing much needed services to the Milwaukee community,” said Hattersley. “Giving back to communities has always been central to our identity at MillerCoors, and it’s a commitment that is very important to me on a personal level as well.”

Hattersley was named Chief Executive Officer at MillerCoors in September 2015. Prior to his current role, Hattersley was global chief financial officer for MillerCoors parent company Molson Coors, a position he held starting in 1999. He also served as a member of the MillerCoors Board of Directors. Prior to joining Molson Coors, he held several financial management positions with SAB Miller and spent nearly 10 years at Barloworld Limited.

Hattersley earned both a bachelor’s degree and an honors degree in accounting science from the University of South Africa. He and his wife, Terry, actively support Make-A-Wish chapters in Chicago, Milwaukee and Denver, as well as the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, where Hattersley serves on the board of directors.

Penfield Children’s Center creates a positive start in life for infants and children, many of whom have developmental delays or disability, by providing early education, health and wellness services and family programming. Founded in 1967, the organization is named in honor of Dr. Wilder Penfield (1891-1976), a world-renowned neurosurgeon who strongly advocated early intervention for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
