Full Moon Sound Bath, Mini-Market + Astrology Writing Workshop at Lynden this Sunday

By - Jul 16th, 2024 01:12 pm

We are pleased to host 3 related events at Lynden on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

In a departure from our usual practice, we invite you to join artist-in-residence Jenna Knapp and collaborator Sevan Arabajian for July’s Full Buck Moon during the daylight hours, 11 am-12:30 pm, for a sound bath and labyrinth walk. Learn more and sign up at lyndensculpturegarden.org/calendar/sound-bath-july-2024.

Then, from 1-3 pm celebrate summer and July’s Full Moon by visiting local readers, artists, and vendors for Lynden’s first ever Full Moon Mini-Market, curated by Jenna Knapp. Drop in and support local artists or sit down for an astrology reading or full moon tarot spread on the lawn. Prices vary based on vendor — cash and digital checkout options will be available. More info: lyndensculpturegarden.org/calendar/full-moon-mini-market

Finish your day with Astrology for Writers with KP Kaszubowski, 3-5 pm. This writing session will focus on the words “consider” and “disaster,” both of which have etymological roots back to the word “star.” As we consider the current planetary placements, we will reflect on what is moving in our personal lives so as to avoid “disaster.” This workshop will include a mix of quiet, solo writing time and collaborative, playful writing activities. This workshop is designed for people who are brand new to astrology as well as those who consider themselves advanced astrology practitioners. And the writing portion of this workshop is open to all types of writers — poetry, prose, the experienced, and the excited. The energy of this workshop is full of curiosity, play, wonder, and open dialogue. Learn more and register online at lyndensculpturegarden.org/education/astrology-writers-kp-kaszubowski.

Hope to see you there!
