Forte Theatre Company presents the hit musical Mamma Mia!

March 12, 2026 (Milwaukee, WI) – Forte Theatre Company is bringing the global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! to the stage this spring, running April 11–19. Featuring the beloved songs of Swedish pop group ABBA, the production is directed by Randall Dodge; this is Forte’s final mainstage production of its Sixth Season.

The feel-good musical tells a heartwarming story of family, friendship, and self-discovery set on a sun-drenched Greek island. On the eve of her wedding, a young woman secretly invites three men from her mother’s past in hopes of discovering which one is her father. What follows is a joyful and heartfelt story filled with laughter, romance, and the timeless hits that have made ABBA’s music beloved around the world. Since premiering in London’s West End in 1999, MAMMA MIA! has become one of the most successful musicals of all time. Director Randall Dodge explains, “This production celebrates the incredible talent and spirit of our cast, crew and production team. The show is filled with humor, heart, and unforgettable music, and our performers bring such authenticity and energy to every moment. Our audience is in for a real treat.”
