MADISON, WI – February 21, 2019 – First Business Bank, part of the First Business Financial Services, Inc., family of companies, is pleased to announce the promotion of Alicia Buttchen to the position of Assistant Vice President-Treasury Management.

Alicia joined First Business in November 2014 and has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, focusing on serving the needs of local businesses and not-for-profit organizations. As an Assistant Vice President – Treasury Management, Alicia focuses specifically on deposit strategies, mitigating the risk of fraud, and creating efficiencies through process improvements to maintain a positive cash flow and improve the bottom line. This entails a comprehensive understanding of each company’s cash flow cycle, collecting receivables, processing payables, and managing and mitigating the risk of fraud.

Alicia is actively involved in the community and currently serves as the President of Women for MACC (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer), Treasurer of Our Next Generation (ONG), Secretary of the Wisconsin Association for Financial Professionals (WI-AFP), and is on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Innovation Awards (WIA). She is an ambassador for the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation, as well as an Advisor for the Center for Financial Training (CFT). She actively volunteers her time with several not-for-profit organizations including The Women’s Center, MACC Fund, The Guest House of Milwaukee, United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, Habitat for Humanity, as well as Homes for Our Troops.

Alicia is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, has a General Banking & Small Business Banking diploma from the American Institute of Banking, and is a graduate of Leadership Waukesha County.
