Milwaukee, WI – With the winter break approaching, Milwaukee County Parks are ready to provide fun and engaging activities for everyone. All facilities, except for specific holiday closures, are open, offering a host of activities to keep the community active and entertained.

1. Pulaski Indoor Pool

Join us daily* for open swim or check out our lap swimming and water exercise sessions. *Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

3. Milwaukee County Sports Complex

This holiday season, enjoy more opportunities to engage in sports and recreational activities at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex. We’ve arranged special hours for pickleball enthusiasts and gym goers alike.
4. Slice of Ice at Red Arrow Park
Address: 920 N Water St. Milwaukee, WI 53202
Whether you’re downtown ice skating on a winter evening after a show, or skating on a weekend afternoon with the kids, the rink is free when you bring your own skates — or you can rent from us!
5. Wilson Ice Arena
Address: 4001 S. 20th St. Milwaukee, WI 53211
Check out open skate at Wilson Ice Arena weekdays* in December starting at noon – 3:00pm and on Saturdays from 2:30pm – 4:30pm. See calendar for complete start and end times. Look for night skating on New Year’s Day.

Observe the many gifts nature has to offer as you trek the trails in this County gem. Reserve an outdoor all terrain chair to help with accessibility needs, and check out snow shoe rentals if there is enough snow.* Trails are open sunrise to sunset and remain open while the visitor center is closed in observance of Christmas, December 24th-26th.
