Emilee Fannon Joins the CBS 58 News Team
12/21/2020- Milwaukee – Weigel Broadcasting Co.’s CBS 58, WDJT-TV is happy to announce a new addition to the CBS 58 News team. Capitol Bureau Correspondent Emilee Fannon will join the CBS 58 News Team in January and will be based in Madison.
Emilee is no stranger to the Capitol and politics. She spent the last three years as the Capitol Bureau Chief for WKOW, Madison’s ABC Affiliate. During the 2020 Presidential Election she was thrilled to have the opportunity to interview President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President Mike Pence, along with other prominent figures from both campaigns. Prior to Madison, she covered politics in the Illinois capitol of Springfield as a statehouse reporter for 3 years.
“I strive to cover the political stories that have the most effect on people right here in Wisconsin. I’m excited for the opportunity to take that passion to a larger stage and reach even more people.” said Emilee.
