(WISCONSIN) — In response to Donald Trump Jr.‘s visit to De Pere, Wisconsin, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Spokesperson Philip Shulman released the following statement:
“Wisconsin surpassed 200,000 cases of COVID-19 yesterday and Trump has totally failed to address the pandemic. Our hospitals are being over-run, tens of thousands of Wisconsinites are still out of work, and Trump has the audacity to claim that we’re “turning the corner’ — Wisconsinites know this couldn’t be further from the truth. What’s worse is Trump is trying to rip away protections for millions of people with pre-existing conditions and others who get their health care through the exchange. Trump and his administration have declared they’re done trying to address the pandemic. More so than ever, Wisconinites know the only way out of this nightmare is by electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House on November 3rd.”
