David Alan Alan’s Smokehouse Coming to the Milwaukee Public Market
The Milwaukee Public Market is thrilled to announce that David Alan Alan’s Smokehouse will join its lineup of vendors this fall, succeeding BBQ vendor Pat’s Rib Place. Pat’s Rib Place will conclude its restaurant operations at the end of July to shift focus on expanding its retail line of BBQ sauces.
Founded by Dave and Tina O’Bryan, David Alan Alan’s Smokehouse blends Tina’s love for hospitality and Dave’s passion for smoked food into an authentic smokehouse experience, inspired by traditional techniques and quality meats. Their new location at the Milwaukee Public Market will be their second, joining their original restaurant in Mukwonago.
The owners of Pat’s Rib Place, Alisha and Ty Hayes, made the decision to retire from the restaurant business after successful runs in Waukesha and downtown Milwaukee. They are excited to devote more time and resources to their growing sauce business, which is expanding into select Milwaukee-area Meijer store locations.

The menu at David Alan Alan’s Smokehouse will feature a wide range of BBQ favorites, including slow-smoked brisket, tender ribs, and savory pulled pork, all complemented by a variety of homemade sides, sauces, and unique smoked cocktails. With many celiac-friendly menu items, and their commitment to using only the freshest ingredients, David Alan Alan’s menu is also a popular choice within the gluten-free community.
The last day to experience Pat’s Rib Place at the Milwaukee Public Market will be July 31, 2024. David Alan Alan’s Smokehouse plans to open in the fall of 2024, with more details to follow.
