Daily Baking Company To-Go Opening at Mercantile Plaza in Port Washington
Daily Baking Company, a cornerstone of Downtown Port Washington for over 8 years, is excited to announce the availability of everyday grab & go food at their neighboring business, Mercantile Plaza, starting January 2024. Because Daily Baking Company makes their food from scratch, it has only been able to focus on serving weekend patrons on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Through this collaboration with Mercantile Plaza, a selection of their best-sellers as well as some new items will now be available during the week.
The offering will be geared toward the lunch crowd and people wanting to pick up a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. Items such as muffins, scones, yogurt parfaits, wraps, sandwiches and salads will be available, as well as sweet treats such as cupcakes. The food will be freshly prepared in the Daily Baking kitchen to maintain the quality level that consumers associate with the Daily Baking Company brand.
“The vision for the Mercantile Plaza was to create a space that offered many of the things that were not already present in Downtown Port Washington such as a community lounge, fine art, a florist, baked goods and grab-n-go foods,” said Julie Christiansen, Owner of Mercantile Plaza. “We are absolutely thrilled to be able to partner with Daily Baking Company to bring their menu to people on a daily basis.”
Daily Baking To-Go will be open for business starting Monday, January 8. Normal business hours will be Sunday/Monday 11am – 4pm, Weds/Thurs 10am – 5pm and Fri/Sat 10am – 6pm (closed Tuesday). Mercantile Plaza has an indoor 900 square foot lounge so food & beverages can also be enjoyed on-site.
