Cream City Foundation Launches its 2024 Scholarship Program
MILWAUKEE, WI – Cream City Foundation announces the launch of its 2024 Scholarship Program for the 2024-2025 academic school year for students of Southeastern Wisconsin.
Cream City Foundation’s (CCF) Scholarship Program is building on the incredible growth of its scholarship program in 2023. Via last year’s program, 20 scholarships of $2,500 each were awarded to local students – a total of $50,000 of impact to current and future LGBTQ+ leaders in our community. CCF’s goal for 2024 will be to meet or exceed last year’s record-breaking total.
“Supporting current and future LGBTQ+ leaders is a key part of our foundation’s programming,” stated Committee Co-Chair and CCF Board member Laura Mayerle. “After a remarkable 2023 we are eagerly anticipating having additional impact in 2024 to area students.”
LGBTQ+ identifying students who are residents of southeastern Wisconsin and are pursuing a post-secondary education are encouraged to apply. Students who are allies of the LGBTQ+ community are also encouraged to apply as allies play an important role in making spaces more accepting.
Applications are open through May 31st, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. To apply, visit https://creamcityfdn.org/scholarships/. CCF will announce scholarship recipients in late summer of 2024, and disburse funds to financial aid offices in August.
