MADISON, Wis. – Today, with exactly 50 days left until Election Day, Judge Susan Crawford’s campaign for the Wisconsin Supreme Court announced raising more than $7.3 million total since entering the race in June 2024, and more than $4.4 million in the recent reporting period spanning January 1 thru February 3, 2025. These historic sums are the most of any Wisconsin Supreme Court campaign in history at this point in the race, and a testament to the overwhelming grassroots energy ready to elect Judge Crawford.
Judge Crawford’s campaign is powered by grassroots supporters from all 72 counties, and the Pre-Primary Report, due today, includes nearly 20,000 contributions from over 16,000 individual donors. With more than $3 million cash-on-hand, Judge Crawford’s campaign is in a commanding position entering the final 50 days of the race. Judge Crawford’s campaign has raised 6 times more than now-Justice Protasiewicz’s campaign raised in the same reporting period in 2023, which was $725,000.
Judge Crawford has served as a Circuit Court judge since 2018. Prior to taking the bench, she began her career as a prosecutor with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, holding criminals accountable and protecting community safety, and represented clients whose rights were violated as a private-practice attorney.
