“I am proud to endorse District Attorney John Chisholm,” said County Executive Chris Abele.
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele today announced his endorsement of District Attorney John Chisholm for re-election.
“I am proud to endorse District Attorney John Chisholm,” said County Executive Abele. “John has led the charge in reforming the way our county handles criminal justice. He has been essential to helping us get smarter on crime, while making sure we are doing everything we can to keep our citizens safe.
“Milwaukee County has seen numerous positive reforms made to its criminal justice system in recent years, including better coordination to keep those suffering mental illness out of our jails, more resources to help address domestic violence, more staff to protect witnesses and victims of crime, and strong initiatives aimed at reducing gang violence and gun crimes,” continued Abele. “None of these innovative and effective changes would have been possible without the leadership of District Attorney Chisholm.”
“I am honored to receive the support of County Executive Chris Abele,” said Chisholm. “He shares our dedication to making our criminal justice system work better,” said District Attorney John Chisholm. “Our community faces several challenges, but we also have made significant progress, and I am ready to continue building upon these improvements. The people of Milwaukee County deserve an effective, transparent, and reliable criminal justice system.”
