Complaint Filed over Crawford’s Campaign Promise to Sell Van Orden & Steil Congressional Seats

MADISON, Wis. — In case you missed it, the dangerously liberal candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court, Susan Crawford, and WisDems offered to hand Republican congressional seats to Democrats if Democrat donors helped her out. A blatant disregard for the judicial code.

Recently, a concerned citizen filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Judicial Commission against the left’s puppet, Crawford, for her violations of the Wisconsin Judicial Code. While her far-left friends like Janet Protasiewicz opened the can of worms, inserting values and personal political ideas into the race, it’s telling that Crawford is following her playbook; Crawford is blatantly signaling how she would vote on issues that will come before the Court.

The Wisconsin Judicial Code of Conduct explicitly prohibits judges from “manifest(ing) bias and pledges, promises, or commitments inconsistent with the impartial performance.”

Well, selling Congressman Steil and Van Orden’s house seats is one damning promise and a clear promise that fair shakes are thrown out of the window if Crawford is on the State’s highest Court.

When she’s not promising to let Democrats scribble new maps, she’s repeatedly touting her work to destroy commonsense policies like voter ID and bragging about her crusade against conservative reforms. Crawford has made it well known to the voters that she led the charge to repeal Act 10, a policy that would drive up taxes for hard-working Wisconsinites.

“Susan Crawford has decided to disregard the Judicial Code to get the help of out-of-state liberal megadonors. Make no mistake, Crawford would fight to dismantle all Republican-backed cases and weaponize the court to help Democrats. On April 1, Wisconsin voters will vote for Brad Schimel and reject Crawford’s promise to gerrymander maps in exchange for campaign contributions,” said WisGOP Executive Director Andrew Iverson.
