The revised variance, which includes management for Peninsula State Park in Door County, will address requests for additional and clarifying information regarding the potential areas of impact.
The current public comment period opened on Jan. 24 and is scheduled to close on Feb. 8. The department will develop a revised variance to address comments and requests received during the initial comment period.
An updated variance will be issued with a second public comment period as soon as is feasible.
