Clement Manor Receives Grant to Launch a Respite Care Program For Caregivers of Loved Ones With Memory Loss
Greenfield, WI – Clement Manor is excited to announce that it has been awarded a generous grant from Bader Philanthropies to launch a 12-week respite care program for caregivers of individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, called “Moments to Embrace, a Caregiver Respite Program.” This program, which will begin on April 4th, will provide vital support to caregivers, offering them a much-needed opportunity to recharge and feel supported in their caregiving journey.
Caring for a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease can be both fulfilling and demanding. The program is designed to provide caregivers with two hours of respite every Friday for 12 weeks. It allows them to step away from their caregiving responsibilities and participate in expert-led classes focused on self-care, effective caregiving strategies, and much more. These classes aim to inspire, educate, and rejuvenate participants, helping them manage caregiving challenges while ensuring their well-being.
Simultaneously, caregivers’ loved ones will engage in enriching activities tailored for individuals with memory loss. These activities will provide a safe and stimulating environment for individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer’s while Clement Manor’s skilled care partners care for them.
Caregivers and their loved ones are invited to sign up for any or all of the classes. To register or for more information, visit http://www.clementmanor.com/moments or contact Natalie at 414-546-7984.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support from Bader Philanthropies,” said Natalie Strade, Marketing Director at Clement Manor. “This grant will allow us to provide caregivers with the tools to care for themselves while ensuring their loved ones are in a safe and stimulating environment. We hope this program will help alleviate some of the stress caregivers face daily.”
