FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – APRIL 25, 2023 – WEST ALLIS, WIS – After a successful Concert Series last year, the City of West Allis announced that the Summer Concert Series will return for four Thursdays throughout the summer at West Allis’ Veterans Memorial Park, 6900 W. National Ave. All events are held from 5-8 p.m. with food trucks and beer vendors’ service beginning at 5 p.m. and music beginning at 6 p.m. The dates and lineup are as follows:

  • Thursday, June 22 – Cactus Bros.
  • Thursday, July 20 – De La Buena
  • Thursday, August 24 – Milwaukee Blues Rock Collective
  • Thursday, September 7 – Sweet Sheiks

“The Summer Concert Series is a great chance to listen to amazing music from local talent and mingle with your friends and neighbors,” noted Dan Devine, Mayor of the City of West Allis. “This is a great way to get out of the house and connect with others in the community. Plus, there’s no better way to make summer memories than by attending an awesome concert!”

Admission for the Summer Concert Series is free. Each night will feature a rotating lineup of popular food trucks, craft beer from 1840 Brewing, and activities for families. Veterans Memorial Park features an award-winning fitness court, bocce courts, and a recently renovated playground with zip lines, climbing apparatuses, swings, and slides for kids. Bring your own chairs or blankets, kick back, and relax while taking in the sounds of summer. The Summer Concert Series is made possible with the support of our sponsors Festival Foods and 1840 Brewing.
