MILWAUKEE — The City of Milwaukee Election Commission (MEC) announced today that Early Voting for the August 11 Partisan Primary will begin Tuesday, July 28, with six Early Voting sites available across the city. In addition, MEC will be releasing the second of four “I Voted Early” stickers. This election’s sticker, which features a patriotic design depicting an eagle, was created by MPS Art Teacher, Fozia Habib.

To mark the start of Early Voting, Mayor Cavalier Johnson will cast his ballot early at Good Hope Library, 7715 W. Good Hope Road, on Tuesday, July 28, at 12:30 p.m. Mayor Johnson and the Executive Director of the City of Milwaukee Election Commission, Paulina Gutierrez, will be available to answer questions from members of the media.

“Early Voting is a convenient and accessible option for Milwaukee voters to make their voices heard before Election Day,” said Gutierrez. “We encourage voters to review the Early Voting schedule, make a voting plan and cast their ballot at a time and location that works best for them.”

Early Voting locations, days and hours are available at https://city.milwaukee.gov/earlyvoting.

The City of Milwaukee Election Commission encourages all eligible voters participating in the August 11 Partisan Primary to confirm their registration status at www.MyVote.wi.gov, review their ballot information and make a voting plan in advance.
