City of Milwaukee and MPL to kick off Fall & Winter Career Fair Tour
Residents can visit various locations around the City to learn about available job opportunities
MILWAUKEE – In partnership with the Milwaukee Public Library (MPL), the City of Milwaukee will kick off its Fall & Winter Career Fair Tour on Thursday, October 23. This first event in the series will take place at the MPL Washington Park branch from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
These Fairs will also provide residents the opportunity to complete an application for available jobs and learn about various resources that can help them set a path to employment.
“We want our residents to feel empowered to apply to a City job and encourage them to join the City team. Every individual has a unique set of skills that, combined with hard work and dedication, can help them achieve their professional goals while also serving the community. Together, we continue to help Milwaukee grow and thrive,” said Jackie Q. Carter, Director of the Department of Employee Relations (DER).
The City of Milwaukee Career and Resource Fair is FREE and open to the public. No registration is required.
