Milwaukee, WI – State Senator Chris Larson has earned more endorsements than all other candidates combined in the Milwaukee County Executive race — more than 30 community organizations, unions, electeds, and local leaders.

In earning the endorsements of his Legislative colleagues Senators Johnson and Carpenter and Representatives Brostoff, Sinicki, and Cabrera; Larson said, “In my 12 years of public service, I’ve been honored to work with some of Wisconsin’s best public servants. Together, we’ve fought for working families. We’ve fought for affordable, accessible healthcare for all. We’ve fought for fair revenue for Milwaukee and a Wisconsin Green New Deal. I’m humbled that they are standing with me in the fight to build a Milwaukee County where every Milwaukeean can thrive.” Larson has also been endorsed by former State Rep. and Judge Fred Kessler, former State Rep. Sandy Pasch, former State Rep. Jon Richards, and former Congressional candidate Randy Bryce. A full list is available on voteforlarson.org/endorsements.

In earning the endorsements of Amalgamated Transit Union, Wisconsin Education Association Council, The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 32, United Auto Workers Southeast Wisconsin, The Milwaukee Area Service and Hospitality Workers Organization, Wisconsin Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals, Milwaukee Area Labor Council, Services Employees International Union Local 1, American Federation of Teachers Local 212, United Steelworkers District 2, Ironworkers Local 8, and Teamsters Local 344 and 200, Larson stated, “From bus drivers and teachers to hospital janitors and Milwaukee Public Museum employees, these are the people who make everyday life possible for the rest of us. I’m honored to have the support of such dedicated workers in our community.”

In earning the endorsements of organizations Voces de la Frontera Action, Black Leaders Organizing for Communities, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, Sierra Club John Muir Chapter Great Waters Group, Citizen Action Wisconsin, and People for the American Way Next Up Victory Fund, Larson said, “Support for a bold, progressive leader is growing – especially heading into the spotlight of the 2020 DNCC in July. These are organizations at the forefront of the social progressive movement and do the tireless work of building coalitions around a shared community agenda. It means the world to have them on my side. I’m excited about their support and even more excited to earn the votes of progressives across Milwaukee County this Tuesday.”
