Children’s Wisconsin Opens New Good Hope Clinic
New clinic location replaces and expands previous Good Hope Pediatrics with all-day urgent care, imaging services and more
MILWAUKEE, Wis., May 12 — Today, the new Children’s Wisconsin Good Hope Clinic location at 7201 W. Good Hope Rd. in Milwaukee opens to patient families, offering all-day urgent care and imaging services in addition to primary care. The new location and its expanded offerings replace the previous Good Hope Pediatrics location nearby at 7720 Good Hope Rd.
The new Good Hope Clinic allows Children’s Wisconsin to expand pediatric services in this area, which has the second largest pediatric population in Milwaukee. This provides families on Milwaukee’s north side with a walk-in care option for less serious illnesses and injuries that are normally cared for in a primary care setting. The expanded location also has space for an additional primary care pediatrician to practice at this site.
Good Hope Pediatrics, which currently cares for more than 4,000 kids, has been at its current location since 2008. To accommodate integrated mental health, urgent care, imaging services and an additional pediatrician, the new building is 20,000 square feet, more than triple the size of the previous location. Providers and services at the current location have transitioned to the new location.
Children’s Wisconsin worked with Weas Development, who constructed and owns the new building.
Children’s Wisconsin is committed to providing families the best care and peace of mind when it comes to the health and well-being of infants, children and young adults. Children’s Wisconsin Primary Care teams are committed to supporting children’s physical, mental and emotional health and well-being. All Children’s Wisconsin primary care locations include the support of a behavioral health consultant.
