BROOKFIELD, WI (April 7, 2026)—Acclaimed Milwaukee chef, restaurateur, and educator Chef Michael Feker will take the Main Stage at the 2026 Enjoy Life Active Aging Symposium, bringing his signature passion for food, storytelling, and community-centered cooking to one of southeastern Wisconsin’s most inspiring events for aging adults.

Hosted by Capri Communities, the free, one-day symposium will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Elmbrook Church (777 S. Barker Road, Brookfield). The event is designed for adults 55+ and those supporting aging loved ones, with a focus on celebrating the positives of aging and living life to the fullest.

Chef Feker will headline the Main Stage from 2:00–3:00 p.m. with a live cooking demonstration titled “Enjoying Life through the Magic of Food!” During the session, he will share stories from his career working alongside some of the world’s top chefs while demonstrating approachable, health-conscious cooking techniques tailored for health-seeking adults without sacrificing flavor.

“Food is one of the most powerful ways we experience joy, connection, and purpose at every stage of life,” said Chef Feker. “I’m honored to be part of an event that celebrates aging in such a positive way and to share how simple, flavorful cooking can continue to enrich people’s lives.”

Following the demonstration, attendees will be invited to sample the dish Chef Feker prepares on stage, offering a firsthand taste of his approach to vibrant, nourishing cuisine.

Chef Feker’s appearance at the symposium reflects his ongoing commitment to using food as a tool for connection, education, and well-being, whether through his restaurants, community initiatives, or programs like the Flavor Soldiers Program, a culinary entrepreneurship boot camp for veterans.

“Chef Feker’s passion for food, storytelling, and community aligns beautifully with the mission of the Enjoy Life Active Aging Symposium,” said Kim Irwin, Vice President of Marketing for Capri Communities. “He has a unique ability to connect with people through food and inspire them to continue exploring, learning, and enjoying life at every age. We are thrilled to have him join us as a Main Stage speaker this year.”

Now in its fourth year, the Enjoy Life Active Aging Symposium brings together speakers, exhibitors, interactive activities, and entertainment designed to inspire older adults and their families. Additional 2026 Main Stage highlights include gardening expert Melinda Myers and an enhanced Senior Fashion Trends show.

The event is free and open to the public.
