Celebrate Downtown MKE’s “Taste & Toast” event at MOTOR®

Plus, fresh catch fish specials for Fridays during Lent.

MILWAUKEE, U.S.A. (March. 3, 2020) – There’s no better time to visit MOTOR® Bar & Restaurant with monthly specials sure to satisfy most every craving. And this week, Milwaukeeans are invited to get a taste of that award-winning cuisine during MKE Downtown’s week-long Happy Hour event, Taste & Toast. Plus, the Fresh Catch Friday offerings during Lent are reeling in diners!

Taste & Toast
Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 6 from 4-7 p.m.
MOTOR is participating in MKE Downtown’s week-long Happy Hour event coming up – Taste & Toast. The event runs from Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 6 from 4-7 p.m. each night. During that timeframe, we will be offering a menu with specially priced appetizers and drinks. MOTOR’s offerings can be found here.

Happy Hour and Bartending Competition in support of the Menomonee Valley Partners
Friday, March 27, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Come out to support your favorite bartender in the ultimate showdown: a competition to raise more tips to support the Valley! Two bartenders go head-to-head behind the bar—every tip goes entirely to the work of Menomonee Valley Partners to revitalize and sustain the Valley. The best fundraiser will win bragging rights and a hand-crafted trophy! Enjoy drink and food specials, support the Valley, and connect with other Valley employees and friends! Specials include: A special Valley cocktail, $5 mystery beers, $1 off appetizers. Celebrity bartenders include Bill Davidson of the Harley-Davidson Museum, Ron Moore of Automation Arts, Dan Sterk of Rexnord and Bob Peschel of The Sigma Group.

ENTREE OF THE MONTH
Smokehouse Reuben – Pastrami, sweet red cabbage kraut, smoked Gouda and tomato and thyme aioli on toasted rye bread. Served with a pickle spear and fries ($15.95).

SANDWICH OF THE MONTH
Weigh Station Walleye Sandwich – A Pittsburgh Primanti Brothers classic: Fried walleye stacked on a toasted sourdough with classic slaw, French fries (on sandwich), remoulade, tomato and American cheese ($13.95).

DESSERT OF THE MONTH
Flourless Chocolate Cake – Raspberry sauce, whipped cream and fresh mint ($6.95).

COCKTAIL OF THE MONTH
Shamrock Sour – Sham-rock your taste buds with this festive cocktail – Jameson, lime and lemon juices, simple syrup and a drop of green food coloring. Garnished with a fresh lime ($8).

Mac Mondays

Join us every Tuesday for our weekly chef’s choice taco special – two tacos for $10.

Friday Night Fish Fry
Every Friday, MOTOR’s classic All-You-Can-Eat Wisconsin Fish Fry is available all day, served with golden fried cod, crispy French fries, fresh jicama coleslaw, homemade Southern-style cornbread and tartar sauce for only $14.95.
And for Fridays during Lent, MOTOR channels its love of rod and reel to bring Fresh Catch Friday to the table. This alternative to the traditional fish fry nets the freshest choices from the coasts to pair with seasonal produce (market pricing).

Every Saturday night, take in live performances from a rotating lineup of blues musicians, plus all-you-can-eat, hickory-smoked BBQ chicken, pulled pork, smoked brisket and grilled sausage links for $29.99.
