MILWAUKEE (December 7, 2021) – Downtown Milwaukee welcomes the return of Cocoa with the Clauses presented by Madison Medical Affiliates to Cathedral Square Park on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids will have the chance to pose for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, plus share their holiday wish lists. Elves and other holiday characters will also be present for photo opportunities while Sarah Fierek and the Midwest Vocal Express choir create a festive ambience. Hot cocoa and cookies will be provided compliments of Taste of Home. Masks are highly encouraged for this event, regardless of vaccination status.
Cathedral Square Park also hosts a direct connection to the North Pole – Santa’s Mailbox. The mailbox, presented by Educators Credit Union, Serving Older Adults and National Association of Letter Carriers Pioneer Branch 2, will be stationed until Dec. 12. Children who drop off a letter with a return address will receive a personalized letter from Santa, no postage required.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus back to Cathedral Square Park,” said Beth Weirick, CEO of Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21. “This is a moment that kids will remember for years to come, which is why we were excited to rekindle the magic of the season.”
