Carthage College expands K-12 summer camp options

Registration now open for 2025 academic, athletic, and certification programs

KENOSHA, Wis. – Drawing on the strength of its professors and coaches, Carthage College is expanding the lineup of summer camps and clinics for students in grades K-12.

Registration is now open for programs covering a broad mix of academic, athletic, and professional interests. Ranging in duration from one to five days, these include commuter or residential options.

Among the new offerings in 2025, the college introduces a five-day Career Exploration camp run by The Aspire Center — Carthage’s national award-winning career services staff — and a four-day Mock Trial camp for students looking to sharpen their skills in that popular co-curricular activity.

Academic Camps

Carthage offers summer programs where participants can explore their academic interests in an engaging setting. Some offer college credit.

Athletic Camps and Clinics

With an NCAA Division III athletic program, Carthage helps young student-athletes to elevate their skills. Led by the Firebirds’ dedicated coaching staff, each program is tailored by age and skill level:

  • Boys’ Basketball
  • Girls’ Basketball
  • Boys’ Football
  • Girls’ Lacrosse
  • Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer
  • Boys’ Soccer Elite ID
  • Boys’ Volleyball
  • Girls’ Volleyball

CNA Certification

Carthage offers multiple summer sessions of its Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training program for students ages 16 and up who are looking to jump-start a healthcare career. The three-week program emphasizes skill development and hands-on learning.
