Carter Signs With Golden Eagles
MILWAUKEE – Marquette head women’s basketball coach Cara Consuegra announced the signing of Se’Crette Carter on Wednesday. The prep from Rockwood, Michigan is the first signee for the Golden Eagles’ for 2026-27.
“Se’Crette embodies the core values that our program stands for—H.E.A.R.T. A we over me type of player, she is selfless and does the little things on the court, always looking to make the right play for her team,” Consuegra said. “Offensively, she’s a shooter with a green light from deep who will thrive in our uptempo style and help us with offensive spacing.”Carter was listed among the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan’s (BCAM) Best Division I Girls 2025 after helping to lead Bellville HS to its first state championship in program history. The 5-foot-8 junior guard dropped in four 3’s during the title game as the Tigers finished 28-1. Carter averaged 17 points per game during the season.
Playing for Michigan Crossover in the Nike EYBL, Carter was a named to the Session I Third Team. She has averaged 12.4 points per game and connected from 3 at 38% clip on the circuit.
