Callen Staffer Earns Natinal Certification Designation
To achieve certification, Dahl underwent comprehensive review and testing, using a written exam specific to his role in the home improvement and remodeling industry.
MUSKEGO, WIS. – Lance Dahl, an exterior product specialist for Callen Construction, Inc., a full service remodeling company serving southeastern Wisconsin since 1986, has recently achieved Certified Remodeler (CR) status from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
To achieve certification, Dahl, who has both been with Callen since 2013, underwent comprehensive review and testing, using a written exam specific to his role in the home improvement and remodeling industry. The CR designation denotes a professional remodeler who provides a full range of residential and/or commercial remodeling services. These individuals must possess skill and knowledge in a broad range of business management and technical skill areas.
Dahl, an exterior product sales specialist at Callen, began his career in the remodeling industry 17 years ago as a commercial window glazier working on high-rise buildings, schools, and factories. He also previously operated his own business as a window and door installer for several years.
At Callen, he conducts in-home sales of exterior home improvement products. He is also VSI Certified by the Vinyl Siding Institute, plus he earned his Installation Masters Certification for window and door installation and he is Lead Safe Certified in Wisconsin. Dahl has also completed Infinity Fiberglass Replacement Window sales training conducted by Marvin representatives.
“Having another Callen employee achieve NARI certification continues to allow our company to stand out from others in the area,” said Phil Callen, owner of Callen Construction. “Lance earning this certification demonstrates to our customers that the people working on their projects have an extensive knowledge base in residential remodeling, while also being experts in various areas within the industry. Homeowners completing a remodeling project want to be confident that their project will be done correctly and that they are dealing with a contractor who follows ethical guidelines. Working with Callen and its staff gives people the comfort they desire.”
Callen’s Muskego showroom on 131st and Janesville Rd. contains a variety of samples, including full kitchen and bath displays featuring Kohler and Starmark Cabinetry products, countertops, as well as InfinityÒ Fiberglass replacement windows from Marvin. The Brookfield showroom on 191st and Capitol Dr. has a wide assortment of products on display, including Infinity® Fiberglass replacement windows from Marvin, siding, doors, and roofing, and Gutter Topper®.
Callen is a member of several home improvement and area associations, including Milwaukee/NARI, the National Kitchen & Bath Association, the Metropolitan Builders Association Remodelers Council, Better Business Bureau, Angie’s List, the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce, the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, and the Hales Corners Chamber of Commerce.
