Budget amendment bolstering Office of Equity and Inclusion adopted by Council
During today’s meeting of the Common Council (Friday, November 3), the Council adopted budget amendment 28C sponsored by Alderman Mark Chambers, Jr. The amendment adds $500,000 to the Equity and Inclusion Special Fund in the Office of the Director in the Department of Administration. The amendment is tax levy neutral, and is offset by reducing the cash levy for the Joint Public Safety Radio upgrade project.
