New retail space offers handmade, ethically-sourced gifts from near and far

MILWAUKEE – Today, the Bronzeville Center for the Arts (BCA) launched a limited-time holiday gift shop at Gallery 507, its headquarters and gallery space at 507 W. North Ave. in Milwaukee’s historic Bronzeville Cultural District.

The gift shop offers a curated selection of handcrafted items from international artisans across the African diaspora and specialty products directly from creative businesses in Milwaukee. The store is a one-stop shop for all your gift-giving needs, including home decor, accessories, soaps, candles, ornaments, toys, and educational games for young people.

“BCA is proud to open this exciting new gift shop just in time for the holidays,” said Erin Harkey, Executive Director of the Bronzeville Center for the Arts. “The carefully selected products from across the globe and our local community reflect our mission of supporting artists and creative Businesses.”

The gift shop will be open from Saturday, December 14 – December 28:

  • Wednesdays – Fridays from Noon – 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the gift shop will support the BCA’s mission and programs.
