Brewers Sign Left-handed Pitcher Justin Wilson
Veteran Reliever Agrees to One-Year Contract With Club Option
PHOENIX – The Milwaukee Brewers have signed left-handed pitcher Justin Wilson to a one-year contract with a club option for 2024. To make room on the 40-man roster, right-handed pitcher Jason Alexander was placed on the 60-day injured list with a strained right rotator cuff. The announcement was made by Senior Vice President and General Manager Matt Arnold.

Wilson, 35, is 33-24 with a 3.41 ERA and 18 saves in 527 relief appearances over 11 seasons with Pittsburgh (2012-14), New York-AL (2015, 2021), Detroit (2016-17), Chicago-NL (2017-18), New York-NL (2019-20) and Cincinnati (2021-22).
The native of Anaheim, California was selected by Pittsburgh in the fifth round of the 2008 First-Year Player Draft out of Fresno State.
