Brewers Host Jackie Robinson Art Challenge
Wisconsin Fans Under 18 Encouraged to Submit Original Artwork and Win On-Field Recognition at American Family Field
MILWAUKEE – Young Brewers fans, it’s time to grab your crayons, markers, and art supplies and get those creative juices flowing once more. The Milwaukee Brewers, in partnership with Everfi, are hosting the Jackie Robinson Art Challenge, inviting Wisconsin fans under the age of 18 to create an original, artistic expression that captures the spirit of one or more of Jackie Robinson’s values – as identified by his daughter Sharon’s book, “Jackie Robinson’s Values to Live By: Becoming Your Best Self” – citizenship, commitment, courage, determination, excellence, integrity, justice, persistence and teamwork.
Fans can complete the digital entry form, one entry per person, available at Summerslugger.com/brewersshowcases/ when the challenge opens. Kids are encouraged to get creative, take inspiration from Jackie Robinson and create an original piece of art. The art can be designed in any shape or form with no limitations to size or color and may include painting, drawing, or rendering.
The winning entries will be eligible for the following prizes:
- Grand Prize: Four Field Level game tickets, on-field recognition, throw out the ceremonial first pitch and a gift bag filled with Brewers memorabilia
- 2nd Place: Four Club Level game tickets, on-field recognition and a gift bag filled with Brewers memorabilia
- 3rd Place: Four Club Level game tickets, on-field recognition and a gift bag filled with Brewers memorabilia
