Brewers Community Foundation Announces the Return of Fan-Favorite 50/50 Raffle

Popular Fundraiser for BCF Goes Cashless; Available in Designated Areas

By - May 10th, 2021 10:54 am

MILWAUKEE – Brewers Community Foundation (BCF), the charitable arm of the Milwaukee Brewers, is pleased to announce that the popular 50/50 Raffle will return starting tomorrow, May 11, when the Crew takes on the St. Louis Cardinals at 6:40 p.m.

“We are so thrilled to bring back this fan-favorite,” said Brewers Community Foundation Executive Director Cecelia Gore. “The 50/50 Raffle is a tradition for so many of our loyal fans, and a way that they can directly contribute to the Brewers Community Foundation’s mission and goals.”

To start, there will be some changes to how the 50/50 Raffle is implemented. The 50/50 Raffle will be credit card purchase only, aligned with the cashless protocols at American Family Field. Further, there will be four designated locations outside of the American Family Field to purchase tickets: Club Express Entrance, Main Gate Entrance, Left Field Entrance and the Pedestrian Bridge outside Center Field. Sellers will don their familiar bright orange shirts and will follow socially distant protocols.

One of the most notable sources of funding for BCF and its causes, the 50/50 Raffle proceeds are split between one randomly chosen lucky winner and BCF. The proceeds benefit the more than 200 nonprofit organizations across Wisconsin that focus on health, education, recreation and basic needs.

The winner will be announced each game during the middle of the 6th inning just before the Johnsonville® Famous Racing Sausages Race and has until the top of the 7th inning to claim their prize at the 50/50 information booth located on the Loge level behind home plate. The winning number will be announced as well as posted on the scoreboard. For more information, visit brewers.com/BCF.

BCF harnesses the pride, passion and commitment of Brewers fans, players and other supporters to positively impact the lives of children and their families in the Greater Milwaukee area and throughout Wisconsin. Over the past decade, BCF has provided more than 2,000 grants totaling in excess of $19 million to nonprofit organizations across Wisconsin that support programs focused on its four areas of concentration: health, education, recreation and basic needs. Approximately 200 nonprofit organizations receive funding annually through the Foundation’s initiatives. In addition to the fans’ support of the Foundation, all uniformed players, their families, team executives and front office staff contribute their time and/or financial resources to BCF. Visit brewers.com/BCF to learn about ways you can join the team that goes to bat for those in need.
