BBB Names 2019 Torch Award and Spark Award Recipients
The recipients were selected by an independent, distinguished panel of ten business ethics experts and will be recognized at the annual Torch Awards for Ethics luncheon at Bartolotta Catering at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee beginning at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.The 2019 Torch Award for Ethics recipients are:
Category 1 (1 to 10 employees):

Category 3 (51-500 employees):

Since 2003, the Wisconsin BBB Torch Awards for Ethics honors businesses and non-profit organizations of all sizes that meet the highest standard of ethics and trust among their employees, customers, and local communities, embodying BBB’s mission to advance marketplace trust. Recipients are chosen based on their applications, which include an in-depth explanation and evidence of commitment to ethical business practices.

For the third year, the Spark Awards for Entrepreneurship recognize Wisconsin entrepreneurial leaders who demonstrate a high level of character and are committed to giving back to their community. The goal of the Spark Awards is to continue to inspire young entrepreneurs to both follow their dreams and continue to work toward an ethical and positive marketplace.

The event’s keynote panel will feature Peggy Williams-Smith of Marcus Hotels & Resorts and Robert Behnke of Fair Indigo. Moderated by Choton Basu of UW-Whitewater’s College of Business & Economics, the panel will discuss sustainable business models for social impact.
