MILWAUKEE (Nov. 6, 2019) – Bayshore continues to revitalize and diversify its retail experience with the addition of ERIK’S Bike Board Ski (ERIK’S), an award-winning cycling, skiing and snowboarding retailer that offers the largest selection of bikes in the Midwest.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome ERIK’S to Bayshore as we continue to transform this amazing property into a year-round destination for shopping, dining, entertainment and much more,” said Kirk Williams, managing director for Cypress Equities. “ERIK’S passion for the world of cycling, skiing and snowboarding will be a major asset to not only the recreated Bayshore, but also the surrounding community.”

Scheduled to open in September 2020, ERIK’S Bayshore location at the corner of Port Washington Road and West Northshore Drive will replace its existing store in Whitefish Bay. Once complete, ERIK’S new retail space will be able to house its extensive inventory of bikes, which range from mountain, road and electric to cruisers, kids, BMX and everything in between. Plus, ERIK’S will have a service department to fix any issue with any bike brand. From October to February, the shop will also have skis, snowboards and winter apparel.

ERIK’S partners with leading bicycle brands such as Specialized, Bianchi, Santa Cruz, Pivot and GoCycle, among others, to create a one-of-a-kind product mix that’s perfect for everyone from beginning riders to expert cyclists. In addition, shoppers can turn to ERIK’S for the latest in cycling apparel like jerseys, shorts and shoes, as well as other adventure sport needs such as skiing, snowboarding and skateboarding.

With a reputation built on unbeatable customer service and remarkable product expertise – all in a friendly store environment – ERIK’S is the Midwest’s leading bike, ski and board retailer.

Independently owned and operated for more than 40 years by its founder, Erik Saltvold, ERIK’S now employs over 500 people across a collection of 30 stores in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Andrew Prater of Mid-America represented Cypress and The Carey Group represented ERIK’S on this transaction.
