Baldwin, Colleagues Visit Fort McCoy
Baldwin toured facilities and was briefed on Afghan evacuee operations
Fort McCoy, WI — U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin visited Fort McCoy today to tour the facilities and receive a briefing on Afghan evacuee operations, planning, and medical processing by federal personnel with Operation Allies Welcome.
Senator Baldwin was joined by Representatives Mark Pocan and Ron Kind, State Senators Brad Pfaff and Jeff Smith, and State Representatives Katrina Shankland, Jodi Emerson, and Samba Baldeh.
“I was glad to have the opportunity to visit Fort McCoy today to meet with military leaders and personnel about Afghan evacuee resettlement efforts and Operation Allies Welcome. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone working around the clock at Fort McCoy to aid this mission. I have the utmost confidence that the work being done at Fort McCoy will ultimately lead to a safe, successful transition for our Afghan allies.”
“I stand in solidarity with our Afghan allies and reaffirm my commitment to ensuring that all of those who helped our service members in Afghanistan have the support and resources they need to make a life here in our great country. I appreciate all that Governor Evers is doing to coordinate donations for those being housed at Fort McCoy—many whom came with nothing but the shirt on their backs—and look forward to supporting the mission in any way I can.”

Hey Baldwin!!
Can you tell Joe Biden to stop dropping bombs on millions of women and children in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Palestine, Lebanon, and Yemen?
I’ve sent dozens of email messages to Biden but he’s still dropping those bombs.
If Joe Biden keeps bombing all those innocent people, we’re going to have 150,000 more refugees to care of in Wisconsin.
