MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN: Four local business leaders will discuss the various ways to finance a business and how to decide which is right for accomplishing your funding goals.

Raising capital can be difficult, but raising capital as a female can be especially challenging in a male-dominated investor world. Julie Blumreiter of Clearflame Engines, Amanda Daering of Newance, Carol Vance of Alinea Engage, and Khalif El-Amin of Young Enterprising Society will be featured on a panel moderated by Abby Taubner of gener8tor. Learn about the pros and cons of bootstrapping, raising money from friends and family, different types of institutional investors, and more at Spaces on March 7th.

“Not enough women bet on themselves or ask others to bet on them. That’s why talking about financing is so important in finding the right model for your businesses,” says Amanda Daering.

Attendees should register online via Eventbrite. Get more information on the week and view the full schedule on the Milwaukee Women’s Entrepreneurship Week website.

About Milwaukee Women’s Entrepreneurship Week: Fact: women run the world. Women’s Entrepreneurship Week brings together women and men in southeastern Wisconsin to network, collaborate and win together.
