Alverno College Welcomes New Vice President for Academic Affairs
MILWAUKEE, (Sept. 24, 2025) – Gina M. Rossetti, PhD has been named vice president for academic affairs at Alverno College. In this role, Rossetti will provide leadership to foster academic excellence and innovation, advance inclusive practices, and strengthen the college’s curriculum. She began Sept. 2.
“Dr. Rossetti brings a deep commitment to women’s education, the Catholic intellectual tradition, and the liberal arts – values that are at the heart of our Alverno mission,” said Christy L. Brown, president of Alverno College. “Her career reflects a passion for academic excellence and a dedication to preparing students for meaningful lives of leadership and service.”

Rossetti earned a bachelor’s degree in English, summa cum laude, from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts; a master’s degree in English from Northeastern University in Boston; and a doctorate in English from the University of Tennessee.
