Alderwoman Coggs to present at expo on Sunday

Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs will be a presenter during the Milwaukee Natural Hair Care Expo on Sunday (June 24, 2012) at the Milwaukee Academy of Math and Science Academy, 110 W. Burleigh St.
Alderwoman Coggs, who will be speaking at the expo about the politics and legal issues pertaining to natural hair, said the expo is a national-caliber event that will likely draw more than 1,000 attendees. She said the expo will feature local and international speakers addressing health and beauty topics and natural hair care. The expo’s 45-minute workshop sessions will run from approximately 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The expo’s primary sponsor is Dr. Kanika Jamila Ward, author of The Kosmik Kare Detox Manual: A Journey to Self Healing and owner of a small boutique style day spa in the 6th Aldermanic District
