Alderman Joe Davis, Sr. invites residents to participate in a community build day.
Alderman Joe Davis, Sr. invites residents to participate in a community build day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. TOMORROW (Saturday, September 27) at Bender Avenue Play Area, N. 90th St. and W. Bender Ave.
The event is co-sponsored by Alderman Davis and KaBOOM! and aims to bring the community together to improve the play area located at N. 90th and Bender Ave.
Alderman Davis and leaders of the Bender Park Block Watch & Millwood Park Neighborhood Association encourage neighbors to join the community build day, in an effort to rebuild a better and safer play area for children and families. Refreshments will
be served throughout the day. Other partners in the effort are the Department of Public Works and Teen Challenge.
