Ald. Stamper invites residents to attend MATC event on Thursday

Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II is inviting interested community members to attend a Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) community impact series event on Thursday, June 29. The event will take place from 5 – 7 p.m. at the St. Ann Center, Bucyrus Campus located at 2450 W. North Ave.

The event will provide the opportunity for those interested to gather information on earning a license, certification, or associate degree from MATC, as well as a forum to talk to recruiters, find the program that’s right for them, and learn how they can attend MATC for free. Alderman Stamper will provide remarks on workforce development in the community, and a panel of MATC scholarship recipients and alumni will discuss their experiences. Those attending are encouraged to bring transcripts to enroll on the spot. Food and refreshments will be provided.
