Ald. Spiker to host two budget-centric town hall meetings
13th District Alderman Scott Spiker will be hosting two town hall meetings in the coming weeks that will serve as an opportunity for area residents to learn more about the Mayor’s proposed 2026 city budget, and ask questions related to the budget process.
The first town hall meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 14 at 6 p.m. at Town of Lake Water Tower, 4001 S. 6th St. The second town hall will take place on Wednesday, October 22 at 6 p.m. at Cooper Elementary School, 5143 S. 21st St. Both meetings will feature a presentation from the City of Milwaukee Budget and Management Division. A representative from the Budget and Management Division will also be available to answer questions following the presentation.“Public input is a key part of the budget process, and as such I would encourage district residents to attend one of the upcoming town hall meetings to learn more and ask any and every question they have related to our city’s finances,” said Alderman Spiker.
Additionally, a new public engagement survey is available for those unable to attend a town hall meeting, or for those wishing to provide further feedback. The brief survey can be accessed here.
